Week 4 2nd - 8th December 2013



Hello class!

This week we have revised all previous learning and used it in affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences. We have also learnt some new vocabulary on the classroom and how to use the demonstrative pronouns and adjectives (this, these, that, those), as well as some adverbs of place (here, there, near, far).

E.g. “This is my chair” / “This chair is here”.
       “These  are my chairs” / “These chairs are under the table”
       “That is her  book” / “That book is there”
       “Those are her books” / “Those books are on the floor”

Week 3 25th November - 1st December 2013

Hello!

This week we have revised and extended the vocabulary and grammar studied up to date and worked on it. We have also learnt to tell the time, vocabulary on classroom objects and some prepositions of place, such as “in”, “on” and “under”, and used them to ask and answer about the objects in the classroom.

Week 1 11th - 17th November 2013



 Hello!

Thank you all for your effort and participation this first week.

This week we have  learnt:

  • The alphabet, names and sounds.
  • Numbers up to 100.
  •  Colours (red, blue, yellow, green, purple, brown, orange, white, black...)
  •  The verb "to be" (present tense).
  • Some adjectives to describe people.
  • Family members (mother, father, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, son, daughter...).


      We have also learnt and practised how to build affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences using the present tense of the verb “to be” and to describe family members.
